The Opportunity: CNC Machine Programmer Reports To: Machining Manager Your Role: As a CNC Machine Programmer, you will be responsible for developing, modifying, and evaluating computer programs for a variety of equipment. At PEKO, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills as a CNC Programmer working together with a dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating programs to manufacture precision parts based on detailed engineering models. You’ll play a key role in transforming innovative designs into high-quality, manufacturable components. Key Responsibilities: • Decipher the programming requirements of complex machine tools to support operations., • Interpret engineering drawings and models to develop CNC programs., • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes., • Ensure programs meet quality and efficiency standards., • Troubleshoot and revise programs as needed to improve performance., • Maintain documentation and records of programming activities.( i.e.,Set-Up sheets, Tool lists), • Troubleshoot and revise programs to improve quality, reduce cycle times, and optimize machine utilization., • Collaborate with all cross-functional departments to support production efficiency and continuous improvement,, • Adhere to all Quality and Safety standards.Required Education/Experience:, • 2-5 years of CAD/CAM software proficiency.
