Spill utilizes large language model AI to improve content moderation and user support, blockchain technology to credit creators, and partnerships with major entertainment brands to break exclusive content worth talking about. Announced in late December of 2022, Spill generated more than 25,000 waitlist requests in the first 24 hours. The following month, the firm secured a $2.75M pre-seed round of funding co-led by Kapor Center and MaC Ventures, in addition to investment from Sunset Ventures. The platform is set to launch its alpha product in Q1 of 2023. We're looking for a talented Software Engineer to help create the APIs and services that will power the initial experience for Spill. When hired, you’ll collaborate with an experienced team that has scaled some of the largest most complex systems in the world. What you’ll do We're looking for a Software Engineer with experience designing, building, and maintaining high-scale distributed systems. You’ll play a key role in architectural decisions for current and future features as well as establishing the culture and craft of engineering at Spill. The RDA will perform all dentistry procedures, clinic infection control procedures, cleaning and sterilization of instruments, tray setup and materials. The dental assistant is also responsible for preparing the operatory and patients for treatment, chairside assisting, sterilization, inventory control of dental instruments and supplies. The UAII Housing Department strives to make a difference by guiding and encouraging eligible American Indian/Alaska Natives to establish a self-sustaining way of life. We assist clients by providing links to wrap-around services and external resources for stable housing. Our goal is to assist our clients experiencing homelessness, unstable housing, or who are severely rent burdened living in the County of Los Angeles and Orange County to find stable/permanent housing. Under the direction of the Director of Operations of Community and Outreach, the Housing Program Manager will be responsible for in-office supervision and implementation of UAII Housing Services. The Program Manager will directly supervise case management, navigators, and specialist staff as well as subcontracted partnerships (if applicable). Additionally, the Program Manager will be responsible for meeting program and fiscal requirements; maintaining community relationships with public and private organizations; and providing reports and documentation as necessary to support the operation of program services and to maintain or secure funding or grants. Conduct outreach to property management, apartment associations, landlords and other local meetings to promote Housing services. Will have experience and a thorough understanding of all functionalities of LAHSA, HIMS, CES, etc. Essential Duties • Assist in development of an organization-wide phased in Housing Plan that aligns with agency Strategic Plan, • Build partnerships with LAHSA, CES organizations, rental offices, housing managers, and Tribal Organizations in coordination with housing plan goals, • Identify and assist with development of a Master Lease Agreement for up to 10 units, • Develop a plan and obtain Rapid Re-Housing Vouchers/Rental Subsidies/Room Key Vouchers that UAII manages, • Supervise housing case management, housing navigators, and housing support specialist as assigned, • Supervise and facilitate training related to navigating the Los Angeles Homeless Management Information System and identify training that would be beneficial to the AI/AN community, • Ensure the program is in compliance with government grant requirements, • Navigate HIMS and identify training that would be beneficial to serve our AI/AN, • Develop a housing procurement, financial, and self-sufficiency case management plan to utilize with clients. This shall include an intake interview to determine client’s eligibility, needs, goals, • Assist participants in development of a trauma informed, strength-based/solution-focused individualized goal and action plan that promotes permanent housing and self-sufficiency; develop an effective, timely internal/external referral network in order to ensure ongoing direction and support as needed, • Assess housing barriers of individuals experiencing homelessness to determine housing and service needs, • Provide mediation and advocacy with landlords on the client’s behalf to develop a workable plan to obtain and or maintain housing, • Supervise and participate in the negotiation, preparation, and administration of leases and housing assistance contracts, • Apply knowledge or create workshops to educate clients of their rights and responsibilities as it relates to housing, • Ensure the housing team is providing proactive follow-up home visits to ensure stability and further progress towards self-sufficiency; Under the general direction of the Housing Program Manager or Lead Housing Navigator, the Housing Navigator supports clients in securing safe and stable housing. This role provides individualized case management, assists with housing searches, and builds strong relationships with property owners, managers, and community partners to expand permanent and supportive housing opportunities. The Navigator helps clients complete rental applications and subsidized housing paperwork, interprets leases, and educates clients on tenant rights and responsibilities. The Housing Navigator collaborates closely with internal team members, provides essential administrative support, and utilizes all functions of the Los Angeles Continuum of Care (LAHSA/HMIS, DPSS, CBEST, LA DHS, LA DMH), as well as CDSS and CalAIM CS systems. This position plays a critical role in guiding clients toward housing stability and long-term success within a compassionate, culturally attuned service environment.
