Job Type: Full-Time Location: St. Louis, MO (Hybrid) with travel Reports to: VP of Marketing The ideal candidate: • 5+ years of experience producing large-scale corporate events (1,000+ attendees) with a track record of flawless execution., • Expert negotiator with deep experience contracting hotels, venues, destination management companies (DMCs), and external vendors., • Strong command of event space planning, audiovisual and F&B requirements, and detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)., • Highly organized project manager who can run multiple workstreams, budgets, and timelines across three major annual events plus smaller internal programs., • Creative, experiential thinker with a strong point of view on immersive attendee experiences and the ability to direct design partners with clarity., • Confident, proactive communicator who builds trust with executives, partners, preferred suppliers, and cross-functional teams., • Comfortable representing Facilisgroup on-site—calm under pressure, adaptable, and solutions-oriented. In this role you will: • Own strategy, planning, and end-to-end execution for Facilisgroup’s three signature annual events (two of which are 1,000+ attendees) and additional regional, partner, and internal events hosted at headquarters., • Lead venue sourcing and contract negotiations (hotels, meeting space, DMCs, production, entertainment, transportation), ensuring best-in-class experiences and strong commercial terms., • Develop and manage comprehensive event budgets, forecasting and tracking spend, and delivering post-event recaps and ROI insights., • Manage exhibitor and trade show operations, including booth planning, show services, shipping, lead capture, and on-site execution; support internal trade shows and showcases hosted by Facilisgroup., • Build and maintain relationships with preferred suppliers, partners, and key vendors to expand programming options and elevate attendee experience year over year., • Serve as the on-site lead for event execution—running show flow, managing stakeholders, troubleshooting in real time, and ensuring a white-glove experience. As Events Manager, you bring with you: • Extensive large-scale corporate event experience (1,000+ attendees) including conferences, user events, supplier showcases, and executive-level programs., • Proven experience negotiating hotel/venue contracts, BEOs, DMC agreements, production/AV contracts, and vendor scopes of work., • Strong trade show background—exhibiting, sponsorship/exhibitor management, show services coordination, and internal showcase execution., • Demonstrated ability to create immersive, brand-forward experiences and guide creative execution across multiple asset types., • Expert-level project management, budget ownership, and timeline discipline; comfortable working under pressure and tight deadlines., • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-facing updates and cross-functional coordination., • Experience with Cvent strongly preferred; ability to build registration sites, communications, and reporting dashboards., • Experience with HubSpot strongly preferred for event follow-up workflows, segmentation, and reporting., • Willingness to travel approximately 5–6 weeks per year, including occasional evenings and weekends during event periods.
