This position has primary responsibility for directing the IMS department along with patient health and wellness, while providing leadership and oversight of wellness services . The position works directly with the Administrator, Program Director, Medical Director and nursing along with all team members to enusre clients are safe, well taken care of and that each Kipu chart reflects accurate documentation within the overall structure of The Encino Detox Center. Responsibilities • Assists clients and promotes health and wellness by leading, coaching and assisting in providing exceptional care and treatment to all clients., • Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and recovery-centric support to clients., • Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals along with company, DHCS and TJC standards., • Resolves patient concerns and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies., • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations., • Protects clients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols; medication administration and storage procedures; and controlled substance regulations. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medication Technician or similar is preferred. Proven experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a detox or residential treatment facility. Strong knowledge of medications, their effects, and proper administration techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients as part of a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively. Familiarity with electronic health records (KIPU EHR) and documentation practices is essential. Current CPR/First Aid certification required. Job Description Under the direction of the Registered Nurse and/or designee, the Sitter may be a clinical and/or non-clinical person who provides patient safety services, through visualization, and within close proximity to patient(s) who are at risk of hurting/harming themselves or others. The Sitter patient population may include suicidal and/or psychotic behavior or medical conditions that cause confusion and/or inability to comply with healthcare directives. The Sitter does not provide and/or perform direct patient care but serves to support the healthcare team in providing direct supervision of the patient(s) to prevent and/or minimize harm to him/her or others.
