Job Qualifications As a qualified candidate, you will possess: • A culinary degree (preferred) and/or 3–5 years of progressive culinary leadership experience., • Strong expertise in inventory management, food costing, and labor control., • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and guide team members., • Experience in high-volume, full-service, or resort-style culinary operations., • Dependable organizational skills, including scheduling and forecasting., • Proficiency with basic Microsoft systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)., • Flexibility to thrive in evening/PM shifts and high-pressure environments., • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are highly desirable but not mandatory. Job Responsibilities In this pivotal Sous Chef role in Phoenix, AZ, your responsibilities will include: • Supporting the Executive Chef in leading culinary operations., • Ensuring food quality, consistent plating, and an exceptional guest dining experience., • Training, developing, and mentoring team members to foster a strong workplace culture., • Innovating seasonal menus while honoring our brand and guest preferences., • Managing food orders, inventory, scheduling, and cost/labor controls., • Overseeing sanitation practices and ensuring strict food safety compliance., • Playing a key role in banquet/catering production when required.
