Job Description This is a 4 week Short Term Project Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description The Warehouse Worker will handle materials for an incoming project, focusing on opening shipment crates, assembling holiday tree units, and organizing products for shipment. This role involves a mix of general labor, packing, inventory support, and picking tasks to ensure efficient warehouse operations. Responsibilities • Open shipment crates safely and efficiently to prepare materials for processing., • Assemble holiday tree units according to provided instructions and quality standards., • Organize assembled units and materials for shipment, ensuring accurate labeling and placement., • Perform packing duties to protect products during transportation and storage., • Support inventory activities by counting, organizing, and recording materials as needed., • Pick items from storage locations based on project or shipment requirements., • Use hand and power tools safely to assist with assembly and material handling tasks., • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift., • Follow all warehouse procedures and safety guidelines while completing daily tasks. Essential Skills • At least 2 years of warehouse experience., • Previous hands-on experience working in a warehouse environment., • Experience using hand tools and power tools for assembly and material handling., • Ability to perform general labor tasks, including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods., • Experience with packing, inventory support, and order picking., • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and consistently., • Strong attention to detail when assembling units and preparing items for shipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Familiarity with basic warehouse processes such as receiving, organizing, and staging materials., • Comfort working with project-based assignments and seasonal products such as holiday tree units., • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment., • Reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent project workflow. The environment is project-driven, with a focus on assembling and preparing holiday tree units for shipment, and requires adherence to safety procedures and organized work practices. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Tolleson, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
