Job Qualifications We are seeking a Shift Manager in Phoenix, AZ, with the following qualifications: • Minimum of 2 years of food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience., • At least 6 months of supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen., • Strong ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and policy documents., • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local sanitary, safety, and health standards, along with HACCP protocols., • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including opening, busy day parts, and closing. Job Responsibilities As a Shift Manager in Phoenix, AZ, your key responsibilities include: • Performing opening, daily, and closing procedures/checklists according to company standards., • Supporting branch management by supervising day-to-day activities of associates in specific restaurants or points-of-sale., • Participating in interviews, hiring recommendations, performance reviews, and other status changes for associates., • Preparing and managing schedules while ensuring proper coverage for all shifts., • Ensuring associates take mandated breaks and meal periods., • Maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing restaurant environment., • Overseeing equipment operation and maintenance to ensure everything is in working order., • Operating cash registers and maintaining compliance with cash-handling policies., • Actively monitoring wellness, safety, and health conditions, building awareness, and addressing any concerns in compliance with HMSHost policies., • Handling orders, inventory, and invoices efficiently.
