Resubmit bills as needed., • Verify accuracy of patient information, insurance details, and billing codes., • Communicate with insurance companies, patients, attorneys, and staff regarding billing inquiries, denials, and claim statuses., • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA and payer-specific guidelines., • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding standards, including CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS., • Collaborate with the practice management team to improve billing processes and ensure efficient workflows., • Ensure accurate documentation and filing of all billing and coding records., • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or certification in medical billing and coding preferred., • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in No Fault medical billing, preferably in a high-volume clinic or hospital setting., • Certifications/Licenses: Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred., • Skills and Abilities:, • In-depth knowledge of medical billing practices, including CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding., • Proficiency with EHR systems and practice management software., • Ability to work independently and make decisions regarding billing and coding processes., • Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies and resolve billing issues., • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail., • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, insurance representatives, and internal staff., • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment., • Be part of a growing and supportive team., • Work in a state-of-the-art facility in one of the most exciting cities in the US.
