About the Role The Clerk is responsible for a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the office. This role receives product, cycle count inventory, order fulfillment, and operate material handling equipment. What You will Do: • Communicating with customers, suppliers, transportation, and internal teams to efficiently fill customer orders, • Assist with data entry and other clerical tasks, • Keeping a meticulous record of throughput data by shift, • Day-to-day communication with suppliers, customers, distributors and internal warehouse teams, consulting with the immediate supervisor and Area Manager(s), • Clerical tasks, including answering telephones, typing documents, maintain detailed records of orders, invoices, and shipping documents, • Use Radio Frequency Scan gun (RF Gun) to scan all product moves at the warehouse, • Receiving: Unloading trucks, receiving, and inbound audits, • Put away: Move pallets of product to storage locations, • Replenishment/Transport: Transport pallets of product to new locations within warehouse, • Inventory: Counting and confirming inventory, conducting inventory audits, and reporting discrepancies., • Order fulfillment: Case Picking, pallet picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, including e-commerce, • Shipping: Load outbound products on to delivery vehicles. Ensure proper placement and securing items inside delivery vehicles. Create and attach necessary shipping documents to packages, including labels, invoices, and packing slips, • Outbound Audit: Inspect products for damage or defects before packaging and shipping, • Equipment operation: Safely operating turret truck, reach truck, Standup forklifts, walkie riders, electric pallet jacks, shrink machines, and other warehouse machinery, • View or input information into a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or another database, • Warehouse maintenance: Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy, and performing general cleanup and organization. Sweeping floors and emptying trash cans, • Health and safety: Following health and safety guidelines and ensuring a clean and safe working environment, • Perform Rework function as required Requirements: Who You Are: • Have a strong work ethic and can-do attitude, leaving a positive impression on everyone you interact with, • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional stakeholders, fostering a cohesive team environment, • Strong time management skills and able to act with a sense of urgency, • Highly organized, detail oriented and efficient multitasker, • Self-starter and thrives in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance, • Comfortable wearing many hats and moving fluidly between tasks, • Utilize relevant industry jargon and terminology consistently in both verbal and written communications, • Act and propose new ideas and solutions before asked, • You are positive, upbeat, and friendly—with a can-do attitude and a knack for solving problems Skills: • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (word and excel), • Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (example D365), • Physical ability to lift and move heavy items up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods, • Attention to detail: Accuracy and precision are critical to avoid errors and discrepancies, • Organizational skills: The ability to organize and arrange products efficiently, • Communication: The ability to communicate effectively is critical in a warehouse setting, • Teamwork: As a warehouse specialist, you rarely work alone, • Support the team to meet productivity targets Education: • High school diploma or GED preferred Experience: • No experience required Nice to haves: Skills: • 1+ years’ experience in a clerk role preferred Education: • High school diploma or GED required Physical Requirement: • Lifting and Carrying: The ability to carry items ranging from 25 to 50 pounds, sometimes heavier, with assistance., • Use of lifting equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) may be required., • Standing, sitting and walking: Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods (8–10-hour shifts)., • Bending, Reaching and Stooping: Frequently bend, squat, stretch, reach above the shoulders, and twist to access products or equipment., • Climbing: May need to climb ladders or use step stools to access higher shelves., • Pushing and Pulling: Push or pull carts, pallet jacks or bins (up to 100+ pounds in some cases)., • Manual Dexterity: Handle small tools, scan guns, label printers or computer tables., • Good Hearing and Vision: Hear alarms, safety signals or instructions in a noisy environment as well as read labels, signs or small text on screens., • Work Environment: May be exposed to extreme temperatures(hot/cold) loud noise, dust or chemicals., • The expected base hourly range for this position is $18.60. The exact hourly rate is determined by various factors including geographic location, experience, skills, and education., • Discretionary Bonus Plan: This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
