Job DescriptionPosition Description: Cafcollege Program Manager JOB ANNOUNCEMENT The San Antonio Education Partnership (SAEP), a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization, seeks an experienced professional to serve as cafcollege Program Manager. The Program Manager for cafcollege develops, manages, coordinates, and implements complex program activities and strategies in support of college access and success. Serves as lead in daily programming at cafcollege to achieve program goals and objectives. Cafcollege is a City of San Antonio program managed by the San Antonio Education Partnership. Demonstrates SAEP core values of communication, integrity, excellence, respect, innovation, and teamwork. The San Antonio Education Partnership Since 1989, the San Antonio Education Partnership has been on a mission to create college opportunities, access, and success for our community. The goal of SAEP is to close the college attainment gap for San Antonio by supporting youth and adults to enroll in college and earn a college degree and/or certificate. Duties and Responsibilities Manages the cafcollege program and facility in alignment with SAEPs mission and vision. Supervises and mentors a team of 5 cafcollege advisors and 1 intake specialist, ensuring performance, professional development, and goal achievement. Plans, assigns, and evaluates team tasks; oversees schedules, time-off requests, timesheet approvals, and annual performance appraisals. Ensures team compliance with SAEP policies and internal processes. Leads onboarding of new cafcollege team members. Facilitates team meetings and provides training on FERPA, data privacy/security, data entry, reporting, and related topics. Supports cafcollege advisors in providing guidance on college admissions, financial aid (FAFSA/TASFA), scholarships, and post-secondary transition. Coordinates outreach events, room reservations, and staffing for cafcollege projects and events. Serves as liaison with the City of San Antonios Department of Human Services. Collaborates with the Programs Team to develop and deliver professional development on college access and success. Represents SAEP at external meetings, events, councils, and in media appearances as needed. Partners closely with the Chief Program Officer to create and implement related programmatic and organizational initiatives. Promotes a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. Performs additional related duties as assigned. Data Management Ensures program alignment with external funder requirements and deliverables. Develops and implements project plans and timelines in coordination with internal departments, educational institutions, public agencies, and private partners. Oversees accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting using Salesforce; generates reports for SAEP leadership and board. Continuously evaluates program effectiveness and recommends improvements or new strategies based on data. Qualifications Masters degree in a related field, or bachelor's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience in social services, education, nonprofits, government or related fields. Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience required. Bilingual in Spanish, Vietnamese, Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Tagalog, Gujrati, or Pashto strongly preferred. Strong public speaking and presentation skills, including media engagement. Ability to lead diverse teams, manage multiple projects, and work independently with sound judgment. Proficient in Salesforce or ability to become proficient within 90 days. High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality. Proficiency in standard office equipment and software. Must have reliable transportation during work hours for local work-related commitments. Must possess a valid driver's license and an insured personal vehicle. Working Conditions Cafcollege is open Tuesday Thursday 8:00 AM 7:00 PM and Friday Saturday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM. Office hours: Workweek schedules will be created based on a 5-day work week, 8 hours a day, Tuesday Saturday. This is an in-office position at 131 El Paso St., San Antonio, Texas 78204. Travel to and from events during work hours as needed. Physical Requirements Subject to sitting, standing, and walking to perform the essential job functions. Salary: $60,000 and up commensurate with experience + full time benefits to include health, dental, life, generous Paid Time Off policy, paid holidays, and 401K retirement savings plan with match.
