Job Description Enthim Industries LLC — Milwaukie, OR Full-Time | On-Site | Competitive Pay DOE | Start Immediately THE OPPORTUNITY Enthim Industries is a cryogenic equipment manufacturer based in Milwaukie, Oregon. We build the Titan 10L — a compact, turnkey liquid nitrogen production system — from raw components to finished, tested, and crated machines. We're looking for a hands-on assembly technician to join our production team and build these systems alongside our lead engineers. This is not a line job. You'll learn every subsystem and every step — we have detailed SOPs for every task, and you'll follow them while building real machines that ship to customers in healthcare, biotech, food processing, and marine applications worldwide. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING — ACTUAL PRODUCTION TASKS These are the real tasks you'll perform, taken directly from our production standard operating procedures: • Remove caster wheels from Sumitomo CNA-11 helium compressors while keeping the unit upright (never tilt — warranty requirement), install rubber isolation mount feet, rig with ratchet straps to a stacker lift, and lower into the generator cabinet bay with a controlled 3-5% forward tilt to engage the mounting slots, • Mount power distribution modules and air compressors to the helium compressor lid — remove the lid, lay soundproofing material, separate the power module bottom plate, drill self-tapping screws through the plate into the lid, reassemble the frame, then drill and bolt the air compressor. The two components must not touch each other, • Hand-wind 12-rung copper coil heat exchangers from a full 50 ft spool of 1/4" soft copper tubing around a paint can mandrel clamped in a bench vise, then cut from the spool with a tube cutter and deburr both ends, • Wire and mount EMI filter / power modules to the compressor lid — terminate labeled conductors with ring terminals, route through spiral cable wrap to the control panel, • Assemble the electrical and pneumatic control board: wire the PLC, 4 sensor harnesses, 2 solenoids, fan hub, air compressor pigtails (3-pin and 2-pin female connectors), connect airlines from carb tank to vent valve, connect copper coil to Walker filter, mount all valves and tanks with self-tappers, • Install gaskets and adapter flanges on the LN2 dewar cold head port to add the gas inlet hole that the original tank flange is missing, • Install cable grommets (glued with super glue) and panel-mount RJ45 Ethernet connectors (threaded with locking ring) into the generator cabinet, • Perform final inspection: run the generator, leak-check all fittings, set carb tank regulator to 90 PSI, drain all LN2, clean interior with vacuum and alcohol, install wire track lids, insulate output lines, install door and ground strap, apply caution stickers, then crate in an EcoCrate with shrink wrap and straps for shipping WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We'll train you on our specific equipment and SOPs — every task above has a detailed, photo-documented procedure you'll follow. What we need: • Comfortable with hand tools — wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, tube cutters, torque tools, tape measures, crimpers, • Able to read and follow written standard operating procedures step by step, • Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and assist with 100+ lb rigging operations (2-person lifts), • Careful and detail-oriented — precision cryogenic equipment, not rough construction, • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated — small team, everyone matters, • Basic comfort with electrical work (wiring, terminals, crimps) or willingness to learn, • Basic comfort with drilling, tapping, and fastening into metal BONUS POINTS (NOT REQUIRED) • HVAC/R, refrigeration, or mechanical assembly experience, • Brazing, soldering copper, or working with pressurized gas systems, • Electrical panel wiring, PLC, or controls experience, • Reading engineering drawings, P&IDs, or wiring diagrams, • Forklift or stacker lift experience, • Any cryogenic, vacuum, or compressed gas experience, • Marine or shipboard equipment installation experience WHAT WE OFFER • Competitive hourly pay based on experience, • Hands-on training on every subsystem — you'll become a cryogenic equipment specialist following our complete SOP library, • Small, tight-knit team where your work directly impacts the product, • Opportunity to grow into a lead technician, field service, or commissioning role, • You'll build machines that produce liquid nitrogen for hospitals, labs, marine vessels, and manufacturers — your work matters ABOUT ENTHIM INDUSTRIES Enthim Industries LLC is a cryogenic equipment manufacturer based in Milwaukie, Oregon.
