About the Role: As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals that meet the standards of Anthony's and satisfy our customers. Your primary focus will be on preparing, seasoning, and cooking a variety of dishes while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. You will collaborate closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and timely service. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to food safety regulations, and the ability to work effectively under pressure during busy periods. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to an exceptional dining experience and the overall success of the culinary operation. Minimum Qualifications: • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking in a professional kitchen environment., • Ability to read and speak English to understand recipes, safety instructions, and communicate with team members., • Manual dexterity and physical stamina to handle kitchen tools and stand for long periods., • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices., • Formal culinary training or certification from an accredited institution., • Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting., • Familiarity with inventory management and food cost control., • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently during peak service hours., • Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards., • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including utensils, equipment, and workstations., • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times., • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate meal preparation and delivery., • Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and moving kitchen supplies. The required skills such as food preparation and production are essential for daily cooking tasks, ensuring dishes are prepared accurately and efficiently. Speaking and reading English enable clear communication with the kitchen team and understanding of recipes and safety protocols. Manual dexterity is critical for handling kitchen tools and performing precise cooking techniques, while physical stamina supports standing for extended periods and moving objects as needed. These skills ensure a smooth, safe, and productive kitchen environment that consistently delivers excellent food.
