This person will perform their work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and be effective working with team members, along with other members of the management team. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager and the company’s Vice President of Production. Job Overview: The primary purpose of the Industrial Mechanic is to assist in the direction and management of all plant operations related to equipment function and maintenance - the mechanical and electrical repair of paper slitting equipment and related equipment in a fast-paced production setting. This position is critical to keep the manufacturing process running at the most efficient levels. This person will also assist with all general mechanical/maintenance issues at facility, including HVAC, electrical and structural needs. Specific Requirements: Must have solid, experienced working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, AC/DC Motor, PLC, electrical components, relay logic and ability to use testing equipment such as voltage/AMP meter. Troubleshoot and ability to work on 110v/220v electrical components is a plus. Must be already familiar or quickly up-to-speed with JennerJahn, Dusenbury, and Hamilton paper conversion equipment.
