WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Our Engineering Team in San Antonio, TX is seeking a talented Electrical Designer who is committed to excellence and driven to deliver designs that align with and elevate project intent. This individual will work closely with teams on educational, healthcare, and other impactful projects, helping clients achieve exceptional results. WHAT YOU’LL DO The Electrical Designer will collaborate with engineering team members and coordinate with consultants on studies, design tasks, and construction documents for projects of varying scale. Responsibilities include: Working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Partnering with integrated engineers, architects, and interior designers across multiple offices Performing site surveys and coordinating with electric utilities for assessments on renovations or new construction Designing building electrical systems including power distribution and lighting, with familiarity in fire alarm and low-voltage systems Preparing and coordinating construction documents for small to medium-sized projects Reviewing construction administration items and conducting site observations during construction Interpreting and applying relevant codes, standards, and design guidelines Utilizing software for electrical load calculations, short circuit analysis, and lighting calculations WHAT YOU BRING We’re seeking passionate, proactive self-starters. Ideal candidates will have: An associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field; bachelor’s degree preferred EIT certification preferred 3+ years of relevant experience Proficiency in Revit (required) Interested in hearing more?
