Job Description The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic seeks an experienced Clinical Supervisor to provide evidence-based therapy and clinical supervision for a dedicated program serving post-9/11 Veterans, Active-Duty Service Members, Reservists, National Guard, and their family members. This role requires expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Prolonged Exposure (PE), with a focus on measurement-based, time-limited treatment. The supervisor will manage a clinical caseload, oversee clinical associates and students, and ensure adherence to CARF, BBS, and company standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Implement and maintain clinical supervision aligned with CARF, BBS, and company standards., • Manage a combination of clinical caseload and clinical supervision duties., • Perform and document biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, client progress, and referral information., • Provide individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy utilizing Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs), delivered via telehealth or in-person., • Coordinate care with a multi-disciplinary team., • Assist and respond to crisis situations., • Attend and/or lead weekly clinical, supervision, and administrative meetings., • Develop, implement, and maintain a practicum/student intern program, including training and documentation oversight., • Provide administrative and clinical supervision to clinical associates, licensed therapists, case managers, and/or practicum students., • Fulfill requirements for the role of field supervisor, including coursework and assigned tasks (e.g., learning plans, student evaluations)., • Serve as a liaison between the clinic and local universities/community partners., • Represent the Cohen Military Family Clinic at clinic and community events., • Minimum of three years of experience in a clinical setting., • Experience with Intern/Practicum Student and/or clinical associate supervisory roles., • A Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or (Psy.D.) degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program, with an APA-accredited internship/residency; OR a Master’s degree in social work and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license; OR a Master’s degree in counseling and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license; OR a Master’s degree in marriage and family therapy and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license., • Current and active good standing license to practice psychology, social work, counseling, and/or marriage and family therapy., • Knowledge of DSM-IV/DSM-V/DSM-V TR diagnoses., • Proficiency in utilizing evidence-based interventions for mood disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and adjustment disorders., • Certification or documented proficiency in one or more of the following EBPs: PE, CBT, and CPT is required at time of hire or within one year of employment., • Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel., • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHRs)., • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have daily use of a vehicle., • Minimum of three years of experience working with adults, children, couples, and families., • Experience and sufficient knowledge in PTSD diagnosis and trauma-related EBP treatment., • Experience working with military populations and/or Veterans., • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written formats., • Professional and positive demeanor with Veterans, families, staff, and stakeholders., • Ability to deliver oral presentations., • Ability to maintain composure during challenging circumstances and crises., • Adaptability to change and professional response in all situations., • Highly organized and detail-oriented., • Ability to set work priorities and solve work-related problems., • Ability to sit for extended periods, up to eight hours per day., • Ability to move about the facility and community, including driving for one to two hours., • Physical and cognitive ability to assist in emergencies (e.g., evacuation, fire extinguisher use, intervening in threatening situations)., • Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds., • Competitive pay, • 12 paid holidays, • Holiday incentive program, • Employee morale initiatives, • Paid vacation, • Paid sick leave, • 403b plan
