Job DescriptionBenefits: • Base Pay + Commission, • 401(k), • Bonus based on performance, • Competitive salary, • Dental insurance, • Free food & snacks, • Health insurance, • Paid time off, • Training & development, • Vision insurance Responsibilities: • Prospect for and sell personal and commercial insurance policies for new and existing customers., • Create and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers by being professional and efficient in your interactions., • Up sell and cross sell existing and prospective customers., • Be motivated to aggressively work lead lists, generate a pipeline of prospects, process quotes, update files, follow up when necessary, sell and process insurance applications., • Utilize systems properly and efficiently for customer retention, acquisition and compliance., • Educate new and existing customers about products offered by the agency.Qualifications:, • Must live locally., • Property and Casualty license for the state of New York required., • Minimum of 1-3 years experience in the insurance industry in sales and/or customer service., • Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively secure new business and maintain existing client base., • Have a proven track record of business to business sales success. Possess strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills with the ability to close sales., • Possess strong organizational skills with an ability to complete assignments without supervision, sound business judgment, strong decision-making and superior written and verbal communication skills., • Have strong time management skills, thrive in a team environment and Technology and Computer proficiency including agency management systems ., • Must have a willingness to excel and grow, be open minded and positive.
