Job Description Job Description We are seeking an experienced Technical Group Leader to lead our Production Team in optimizing molding machine operations and ensuring the production of high-quality parts. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and a focus on developing and guiding team members in daily operations. Responsibilities • Ensure all molding machines operate at optimum speeds and produce quality parts., • Assist and assign team members in their daily duties, ensuring safety and accuracy., • Provide a safe working environment and complete accident/incident reports as needed., • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure all presses produce quality parts., • Manage all aspects of production, including machine efficiencies, downtime, and quality., • Guide and train technical team members and material handlers., • Enter production data into WEBEFF system., • Implement disciplinary actions and maintain related documentation., • Oversee housekeeping within the department., • Determine necessary internal and external assistance for the department., • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and HACCP practices., • Ensure compliance with SQF requirements and company policies., • Promote a team-oriented environment and support colleagues as needed., • Engage in safety activities and ensure communication of safe work expectations., • Investigate and address line/equipment stoppages due to safety risks., • Lead risk assessments and implement corrective/preventive actions., • Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions., • Ensure proper training and development for all assigned employees., • Set and achieve goals for the organizational unit and motivate employees., • Experience with injection molding machines and plastics injection molding., • Production supervision and safety training expertise., • Strong commitment to a safe workplace and safety leadership., • Accountability and initiative in ensuring safety over productivity., • Effective communication skills for conveying safety, goals, and expectations., • Ability to engage and support plant leadership vision., • Experience in team development and talent cultivation. Work Environment The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, extreme heat, and loud noise levels. Occasionally, you may encounter wet or humid conditions, high places, toxic chemicals, or vibration. Shifts include a 12-hour day schedule from 6:30 AM to 7 PM or a 12-hour night schedule from 6:30 PM to 7 AM, with additional compensation for night shifts. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Tolleson, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $66560.00/yr.
