Job DescriptionSalary: $48,000 - $54,000 DOE Talent Management / HR Benefits Coordinator Arizona Autism Charter Schools is the first autism-focused charter network in the state of Arizona and the Southwest. We are seeking a full-time (12-month) Talent Management Benefits Coordinator with outstanding organizational and administrative skills to support our growing organization. This position requires initiative and strong attention to detail by applying established AZACS policies, procedures, and methods. Under the supervision and direction of the Talent Management Director, the Talent Management Benefits Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Talent Management department by inputting employee benefit selections in the HRIS and managing our benefits portal, while performing other essential duties as assigned. Benefits Administration: • Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee benefits inquiries, including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and supplemental benefits., • Serve as a point of contact with AZACS benefits brokers and third-party vendors., • Facilitate annual open enrollment, coordinating communication, resources, and system updates in HRIS., • Manage new hire benefit onboarding to ensure accurate enrollment and timely processing with benefit providers., • Process qualifying life events, changes, and terminations in accordance with plan rules and deadlines., • Assist with benefit billing reconciliation, ensuring monthly invoices match HRIS enrollment data; escalate discrepancies to the TM Director., • Assist employees in navigating benefit options and resolving issues with carriers., • Coordinate and track participation in the Employee Wellness Program, incentives, and vendor communications., • Maintain accurate benefits records in the HRIS and ensure data integrity across all systems., • Monitor compliance with federal and state regulations, including ACA reporting and COBRA administration (in partnership with third-party providers). HR Support & Collaboration: • Assist with HR projects, initiatives, and process improvements as needed., • Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities when necessary., • Help prepare reports, presentations, and documentation related to benefits and HR operations., • Provide additional staffing and recruiting support during peak hiring periods., • Assist the Executive Liaison & Director of Compliance with compliance-related projects, documentation, and reporting., • Support Talent Management with special initiatives, audits, and system clean-up during non-peak benefits months., • Regular and predictable attendance are considered essential requirements of your position., • Additional duties as assigned by the Talent Management Director Required: • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card before the hire date., • Associate degree or relevant coursework in HR or Business Administration preferred., • 13 years of direct experience in benefits administration or HR Generalist duties., • Strong understanding of employee benefits concepts, enrollment processes, and compliance requirements., • Excellent communication and customer-service skills, with the ability to explain benefit options clearly., • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills., • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism., • Proficiency in HRIS platforms, Google Suite, and benefits portals., • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment, be receptive to feedback, and be willing and open to assisting with additional HR-related responsibilities Preferred: • Experience working in K12 education or a nonprofit organization., • Knowledge of Arizona-specific employment laws., • Experience with BambooHR or similar HRIS systems., • Experience working directly with benefits brokers, carriers, or third-party administrators Benefits: • Competitive pay based on experience ($48,000 - $54,000 DOE); salaried non-exempt, • Eligible to participate in Medical, Dental, Vision, Group and Voluntary Life, and Pet Insurance; Medical and Dependent care FSA; Short-term Disability, • Employee Assistance Program (EAP), • Paid Time Off (96 hours per fiscal year, prorated if mid-year), • Paid Federal Holidays, • Paid School Breaks (Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer), • 401(k) with company match ADA AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Positions in this class require: sitting, stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
