Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead client relationships, oversee projects from scope development through completion, and manage internal teams to deliver outstanding results. This role combines networking, account management, and project leadership, with a focus on providing a highly consultative experience that ensures client satisfaction and fosters long-term partnerships. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Customer & Account Management • Serve as the primary point of contact for coordinating IS activities, services, orders, and personnel., • Oversee account team performance and ensure operational excellence., • Respond promptly to client requests for products, services, and information., • Maintain a deep understanding of client needs, business practices, goals, and performance metrics., • Produce plans, develop product specifications, generate detailed and accurate quotes in conjunction with IS team and present to customer in timely manner, • Develop plans, product specifications, and detailed quotes in collaboration with the IS team; present proposals to clients in a timely manner., • Participate in RFP processes and execute service contracts and agreements., • Close sales by securing signed proposals, terms, purchase orders, and deposits., • Monitor and resolve scope changes or obstacles to maintain client and company satisfaction., • Oversee the implementation of all client projects, work orders, and service requests., • Establish and manage project plans, schedules, and logistics., • Supervise designers, project managers, account coordinators, and delivery/installation crews., • Provide project management support, including site visits and status reporting., • Lead and facilitate project and construction meetings as needed. Organizational & Operational Leadership • Collaborate with clients and third-party partners to ensure smooth project execution., • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and manufacturers., • Assign and balance workloads to support team productivity and client needs. Supervisory Responsibilities None Skills, Knowledge & Experience • 7+ years in the contract furniture industry strongly preferred, with experience in account management, design, project management, and customer service., • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment., • Strong communication, critical thinking, organizational, and administrative skills., • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; skilled in budgeting and pricing furniture options., • In-depth knowledge of contract furniture products, specifications, and dealership business systems., • Understanding construction processes and ability to read architectural floor plans., • Experience with RFPs, product specification, and client presentations., • Interior design background and/or design software proficiency is a plus., • Proven ability to build strong client relationships and lead cross-functional teams. Other Requirements • Travel may be required., • Participation in weekly Monday Sales Meetings, Monthly Staff Meetings, and quarterly All-Hands Company Meetings is required.
