Job Description Job Title: Packaging Technician Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Packaging Technician on the 2nd or 3rd shift. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in pharmaceutical product assembly, packaging, and labeling while adhering to all safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Responsibilities • Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and customer requirements in all areas of responsibility., • Comply with all safety regulations and conduct all activities in a safe, efficient manner., • Perform manual or automated assembly, manufacturing, filling, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceutical products while ensuring adherence to specifications and the highest quality standards., • Act as the primary performer of in-process and AQL inspections and other necessary tasks., • Perform computer-related tasks to fulfill necessary duties, including signing in to jobs, in-process actions, and data entry., • Participate in the startup and closure of packaging jobs., • Clean packaging rooms and machinery in accordance with SOPs and GMP., • Accept or reject in-process clinical supplies and drug products., • Assembly, • GMP, • Labeling, • Cleanroom, • Packaging, • Filling, • Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity., • Attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with both hands., • Proficient in mathematical skills for counting, adding, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages., • Ability to interpret 2D Diagrams and batch paperwork to ensure proper assembly of clinical supplies., • Capability to work independently or as a part of a team., • Ability to take initiative, follow through on commitments, and adapt to changing circumstances., • Ability to accept and learn from feedback, especially related to Corrective or Preventative Actions. Work Environment Work in a clean room environment that requires gowning, with exposure to Primary, Secondary, Refrigerated (2 to 8°ree;C), and freezer (-20°ree;C) environments. Up to 80% of the day could be spent in a freezer if needed. The position requires standing continuously, lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds, and frequent bending, squatting, and reaching above shoulder-level. Personal Protective Equipment Certification (PPE), including filtering face masks, PAPR, N-95 masks, half face masks, and safety glasses, is required. Additional pay is provided for working in PAPR/Refrigerator and Freezer environments. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Allentown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.70 - $19.55/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
