Position Overview The UX/UI Designer will be responsible for designing intuitive, user-friendly, and visually engaging digital experiences that meet the needs of our policyholders, agents, and internal teams. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, visual branding, and responsive interface development in the context of the insurance industry. Key Responsibilities · Deeply learn and understand current product lines, customer experiences, and business development plans. · Perform user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather feedback, define user goals, and identify opportunities for improvement. · Develop information architecture, journey maps, storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps. · Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, prototypes, style guides, and visual interfaces for Property & Casualty insurance products. · Lead the design of user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring optimal usability, accessibility, and visual appeal. · Collaborate with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to translate business requirements into compelling design solutions, and ensure pixel-perfect execution across deliverables. · Ensure designs meet compliance requirements, align with brand guidelines, and support ongoing enhancements for client dashboards, partner portals, and digital self-service tools. · Analyze customer journeys to identify pain points and streamline workflows for policy quotes, claims submissions, and renewals. · Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies, especially those impacting the insurance industry. Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field., • Experience: 5–7 years of professional UX/UI design experience, preferably in insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry., • Technical Skills:, • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or InVision., • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles., • Experience with design systems, accessibility standards. and cross-platform design best practices., • Soft Skills:, • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work., • Excellent communication skills for presenting design concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences., • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience designing insurance quoting platforms, claims systems, or agent portals., • Knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance workflows and terminology., • Familiarity with agile development processes. Work Schedule & Professional Standards • This is an in-office position located in Woodcliff Lake, NJ., • Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM with a 1-hour lunch., • Business attire is required daily:, • Males: Clean-shaven, suit and tie., • Females: Professional business attire. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with a strong background in both hands-on sign production and graphic design. This role also requires customer service skills along with a collaborative and upbeat attitude. Qualifications * Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in sign making and graphic design. * Expertise with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and FlexiSIGN. * Hands-on knowledge of sign materials, substrates, adhesives, and mounting techniques. * Experience with large format digital printing, RIP software, and laminating. * Hands-on experience with signs installation such as lobby signs, wall and window graphics, wayfinding signs, etc. * Solid understanding of color theory and color management. * Valid NJ driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle for travel to job sites. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
