Job Description PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Residential Solar Install-Roofer Helper is responsible to assist with the roofing portion of the solar installation process and to ensure highest quality installation possible. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS &RESPONSIBILITIES: • Able to install conduit for attic and roof worksites, when penetration through the roof for wire pulls. Must be able to flash all penetrations properly., • Ensure attention to detail with an emphasis on quality and safety., • Participate in required training programs, • Use the proper safety equipment for safe installation practices as directed. When in attic use proper floor boards to avoid damage to dry wall on the ceiling below rafters., • Perform Installation of stand-off’s and all penetrations with the highest level of artisanship and workmanship., • Be efficient and productive during installations., • Follow instructions of the Residential roofing Supervisor and superintendent., • Follow Construction Job Flow Procedures., • Perform all roofing duties. (Including but not limited to tile repair/replacements. And all other aspect of roof work contracted), • Ensure accuracy of your own time as recorded by the Roofing Supervisor. FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
