Responsibilities: Under direction, operates, maintains, and repairs all components of the water pumping, storage, and distribution system. Read, record, and transmit water meter readings. At times it will be necessary to work extended hours or in inclement weather or during nighttime conditions, including holidays. Operators are required to serve in a system standby rotation and be available to respond to water emergencies.
