    We are seeking a highly skilled and precision-oriented Tool and Die Maker / Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, maintaining, and repairing custom tools, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures used in our production processes. You will operate a variety of machine tools and work with precise tolerances to ensure the highest quality of our manufactured components. Key Responsibilities • Fabrication & Repair: Read and interpret complex blueprints, CAD drawings, and specifications to construct, modify, and repair intricate tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures., • Precision Machining: Set up and operate manual and CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses, and EDM (Electrical Discharge Machines)., • Quality Control: Perform precise measurements using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMM equipment to ensure parts meet exacting tolerances (often within $\pm 0.0001$ inches)., • Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on dies and tooling to minimize production downtime., • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and suggest design improvements for better efficiency and tool longevity., • Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, strictly adhering to all OSHA and company safety protocols. Qualifications • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker or Journeyman Machinist., • Education: High School Diploma or GED; completion of an accredited Tool and Die apprenticeship program or equivalent technical certification is strongly preferred., • Technical Skills:, • Proficiency in reading and interpreting GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) on blueprints., • Strong background in manual machining as well as programming/operating CNC equipment., • Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD) is a significant plus., • Expertise in heat treating, metal properties, and material selection., • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Physical Requirements • Must be able to stand for extended periods., • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds., • Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing shop environment with exposure to noise, oil, and metal shavings. The roles and responsibilities of the Entry-Level Bindery Operator position include sorting, drilling, padding, and folding materials to produce finished print products. Because most of the work is done by machine, the Entry-Level Bindery Operator will work with scoring/creasing, stitching, drilling, and binding machines. Attention to detail is a requirement for this position! Also, time management skills and the ability to prioritize are “musts,” as many projects may be scheduled simultaneously and be in the production stage at the same time. If a problem arises, the Entry-Level Bindery Operator must be able to communicate the issue to the print production leaders.
