The Renaissance Child is a fast-growing education start-up looking for energetic Robotics and Engineering instructors with a strong background in Science Technology Engineering and Math(STEM). Join a team of educators passionate about introducing kids to technology, art, and creativity! This is a part-time position with a minimum one-year commitment. We provide training and certification. Prior experience is a plus but not required. This position is ideal for students or professionals who need extra hours. Our classes include: LEGO® Robotics VEX Robotics 3D printing, Game Development and Coding (Scratch, Python, Roblox Studio, Minecraft, and more!) The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of technology and engineering, and have prior experience or ability to quickly learn these frameworks and concepts in order to deliver educational material in an entertaining and friendly manner! We are looking for someone with and without teaching experience (training is provided as part of the onboarding), however, the desire and ability to work with elementary and middle school students is essential. Experience working in a center required. Must have own transportation. This is a 12 month position. Must have experience in a center. Writing lesson plans that address early childhood education required. Schedule: M-F 8:00 AM - 4:00PM.
