Job Description We are seeking a Financial Administrator to join our team for the Stibnite Mine Development Project in central Idaho. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial administration within the construction or mining industry, initiating all AP and AR, creating and submitting change orders, managing subcontractor invoicing and payments, etc. The Financial Administrator will report directly to the Controller. Key Responsibilities • Initiate and process all accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness., • Create, submit, and track change orders, coordinating with project teams for approvals and documentation., • Manage subcontractor invoicing, payments, and related financial records, verifying compliance with contracts., • Reconcile financial statements, ledgers, and accounts to maintain accurate project financials., • Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and analyses for management review., • Assist in budgeting, cost tracking, and financial audits as needed., • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies., • Maintain financial documentation, files, and systems for easy access and compliance., • Support payroll processing, expense reimbursements, and other administrative financial tasks., • Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations, standards, and company policies. The Financial Administrator will oversee a variety of tasks critical to the Stibnite Mine Development Project, including: • AP/AR Management: Handle initiation, processing, and reconciliation of all payables and receivables., • Change Orders: Develop, submit, and monitor change orders to reflect project adjustments., • Subcontractor Financials: Oversee invoicing, payments, and contract compliance for subcontractors., • Reporting and Analysis: Generate financial reports and analyses to support decision-making., • Documentation: Maintain organized financial records and files throughout the project lifecycle., • Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial standards and regulatory requirements., • Coordination: Communicate with project teams and external parties on financial matters., • A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial administration within the construction or mining industry, with at least 1 year in a similar role., • Proven track record of managing AP/AR, change orders, and subcontractor finances on projects., • Strong knowledge of financial practices, accounting standards, regulatory compliance, and operations in the civil construction sector., • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills., • Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks, MS Office Suite, ERP systems like SAP or Oracle)., • Ability to manage deadlines under pressure and resolve financial issues effectively., • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications, • Performance bonus for meeting project milestones and safety standards. Profit-sharing bonus based on project performance. This position is based at the corporate office in Denver and does not require on-site residence at the project camp or local accommodations. Camp Policies The Stibnite Mine Development Project is a work site monitored by both OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration). All workers will receive thorough training to earn the necessary certifications for their specific role, work location, and type of work. This training is part of Iron Woman Mining Services' commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
