Managing Veterinarian Salary range: $150k-$180k & $40,000 signing bonus Perry Hall Animal Hospital – Perry Hall, MD Perry Hall Animal Hospital in Perry Hall, MD is excited to welcome a Managing\nVeterinarian to our team as we grow to a 4-doctor practice. We’re a\nclose-knit, supportive group that truly enjoys working together. This role is perfect for a veterinarian who enjoys practicing quality\nmedicine and also likes helping guide, mentor, and support a team, without\ngiving up work-life balance or getting buried in bureaucracy. About Our Hospital We’re an\nappointment-only small animal practice. Sick and wellness appointments are 30 minutes\nand consult or second-opinion appointments are 60 minutes. We do offer urgent\nor same-day appointments on a limited, case-by-case basis, and you get to\ndecide what works for your day. There’s no overnight care, no on-call shifts,\nand no after-hours emergencies. Critical cases are referred to a nearby\nemergency clinic so you can go home on time. We believe work should be enjoyable. We do potlucks, crafting activities,\nand off-site social events, and we genuinely like spending time together. Your\nday-to-day will include appointments and surgery or dental procedures, along\nwith some leadership and mentoring time. We’re happy to build a schedule that\nfits your preferences and supports a healthy balance. Our Team You’ll be supported\nby an incredible team of technicians, including three very experienced RVTs.\nMost of our techs/assistants have been with us for over nine years, and they’re\nskilled, dependable, and truly part of the heart of the hospital. As Managing Veterinarian, you’ll help guide medical standards, mentor\nassociate veterinarians, and be a go-to support for the team, while still\nspending the majority of your time doing what you love: practicing medicine. What We Have In-House Our hospital is well\nequipped so you can practice confidently and efficiently: \n • Comprehensive\n in-house lab with IDEXX Reference Laboratory support\n, • Digital\n radiology with imaging consultation available\n, • Mindray\n ultrasound machine and access to a traveling ultrasound service\n, • Dedicated\n surgical suite with isoflurane anesthesia, updated monitoring, and\n electrocautery\n, • Dedicated\n dental suite with two high-speed handpieces and digital dental radiography\n for every patient\n, • Onsite Heska\n Lacuna cytology/blood smear analyzer\n Flexible hours,\nMonday through Friday, with at least one weekday off and one Saturday per\nmonth.
