Review patient history to identify the purpose of the examination and frame the clinical question the exam should answer., • Image Analysis: Review images for quality and accuracy, expand the exam as needed based on findings, and report preliminary findings to physicians., • Technical Expertise: Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functionality and image quality. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols., • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information in compliance with regulatory standards., • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cardiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care and accurate diagnostic results. Key Requirements and Technology Experience: • Key skills; Current RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification, • Current BLS certification (within 30 days of hire), • Experience in basic to advanced cardiac ultrasound services, • Strong technical and patient care skills, • Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program OR 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification., • Less than 1 year of experience required; new graduates are encouraged to apply., • Certification/Licensure:• Must hold one of the following certifications at time of hire:, • RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), • RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) through American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), • Certification:• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required within 30 days of hire., • Skills: Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to expand exams based on clinical findings.
