Job DescriptionJob Title: Production Associate Job Description Join our dynamic production team as a Production Associate, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth production operations. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to work on the production line alongside a dedicated team, engaging in various tasks such as preparing production lines, operating equipment, and maintaining quality standards. Responsibilities • Follow all safety and quality guidelines., • Assist in preparing the production line for runs, including safety checks and staging raw materials., • Conduct production counts, quality checks, and record downtime., • Operate all production equipment according to defined standards and product specifications., • Handle raw materials properly., • Identify and report potential quality issues., • Maintain cleanliness and order in production and warehouse areas, adhering to SOPs and GMPs., • Keep the company in compliance with certifications such as Organic, Kosher, HACCP, and SQF., • Maintain 5S standards in the production department.Essential Skills, • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, and PPE requirements., • Good communication and teamwork skills., • Basic reading and math skills., • Basic computer skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Previous food manufacturing experience is strongly preferred., • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus., • Knowledge of manual and power jack operation (training provided as necessary)., • Redzone experience is a plus., • Ability to lift 55 lbs.Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
