Job Description The Installation Helper position is in the business of assisting lead technicians with installing & servicing electronic security systems including, but not limited to, video surveillance systems, intrusion alarm systems, access control systems, gated entry systems, intercom systems, mobile video surveillance & tracking systems, WIFI distribution systems, A/V systems, etc. Most installs take place in functional business environments from small businesses to enterprise businesses (approx +/- 10% in residential environments). You will learn how to run cables in commercial/light residential environments, how to run undergrounds infrastructure such as trenches and conduits, how to install light poles and gate operators, etc. and how to maneuver and work in attic and/or raised foundations, etc. The end goal is to get into your own company issued vehicle and be a lead technician. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday with occasional/rare Saturdays. Hours vary based on client/company needs but generally have an 8AM start time and 5-6PM stop time; however, some later start times, delayed ending time and/or night work sometimes exist.
