Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with specialized Neuro Intensive Care Unit experience to join a dynamic team at a premier healthcare facility in Syracuse. This role is critical in providing high-acuity care to neurology and neurosurgery patients in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment. Current BLS Certification., • Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent acute care hospital experience. At least 1 year of specific Neuro ICU experience. Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center is strongly preferred., • Technical Skills: Prior experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records is preferred., • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neurological and neurosurgical patients., • Monitor and interpret complex patient data, including neurological assessments., • Operate specialized ICU equipment., • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, therapists, and other nurses., • Administer medications, implement treatment plans, and provide patient/family education.
