Job Description Position Summary Donor Relations & Events Manager coordinates fundraising events, donor stewardship activities, corporate volunteer engagement, website content updates, and supporter communications that strengthen relationships with individual and corporate partners. The role manages event planning, donor communications, sponsorship coordination, volunteer group experiences, and CRM tracking to support annual fundraising and engagement goals. This position also supervises the Client Services & Administration Coordinator, ensuring alignment between front desk operations, volunteer and in-kind donation coordination, and donor and event activities. Job Description Required Education, Experience and Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, public administration, or related field preferred., • 2-4 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, events, volunteer coordination, or related field., • Prior supervisory or team coordination experience preferred., • Familiarity with website content management systems (WordPress or similar) preferred., • Strong organizational and project coordination skills., • Maintain valid Ohio driver’s license and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability. Fundraising events Coordination • Plan and coordinate all fundraising events, including logistics, timelines, vendors, and materials., • Support and track event sponsorship outreach and fulfillment in collaboration with the CDO., • Coordinate donor stewardship activities including meetings, tours, acknowledgments, recognition, and communications., • Maintain donor database (CRM) records including gifts, interactions, event participation, volunteer engagement, and corporate involvement., • Track donor engagement and movement through the cultivation pipeline, including event participants, volunteers, and corporate partners transitioning to donors or sponsors., • Coordinate logistics for annual appeals, campaigns, and donor communications., • Assist in preparing donor impact stories and materials. WEBSITE & MARKETING CONTENT • Maintain and update website content for the agency., • Coordinate with Outreach staff or external vendors on outreach and marketing materials., • Support social media and promotional content for fundraising initiatives., • Ensure consistent branding across donor, volunteer, website, and event materials. CORPORATE & GROUP VOLUNTEER COORDINATION • Coordinate corporate and community volunteer group opportunities in partnership with program and shelter staff., • Supervise volunteer participation, corporate engagement, and in-kind contributions. SUPERVISION RESPONSIBILITIES Direct supervision of the Client Services & Administration Coordinator. Coordinates event volunteers, corporate volunteer groups, interns, and temporary event support personnel as assigned.
