The Mammography Technologist will be responsible for performing quality patient care and mammographic images for successful diagnostic of patients for the radiologist. This also includes creating a tranquil environment, so patients will be able to adhere to examination instructions. Primary Responsibilities: • Identify anatomical orientation on all required images and assures proper file identification on all images, • Demonstrate competency performing all mammographic procedures and the operation of all related equipment, • Greet patients, obtain history, and enters information in computer system, • Obtain mammographic images according to guidelines, • Maintain logs; process paperwork for biopsies, • Utilize sterile techniques preventing contamination, • Maintain quality standards as it relates to HIPPA regulations, • All clinical aspects of mammography suite; maintains cleanliness of examination rooms. The Peer Mentor position was created using the research and belief that involving people who have their own lived experience with substance use, mental health conditions, and/ or criminal justice involvement is invaluable in reaching and helping the population. POSITION SUMMARY: The Next Step Resource and Recovery Center opportunities for people in all stages and forms of recovery to deliver and attend individual and group support activities, initiate, and conduct outreach, and events celebrating recovery and reducing stigma associated with substance use. The Center operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and hosts several services including Recovery Center peer-driven individual and group recovery services, counseling and case management, overdose prevention services, harm reduction, and recovery-oriented community outreach, education, and the Training Institute at CHASI. The Recovery Counselor serves as a key clinical member of the Next Step team, providing substance use disorder assessments, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and recovery support services to participants. The Recovery Counselor works collaboratively with Senior Peer Mentors, and community partners to support participant engagement and continuity of care.
