With competitive pay, full flexibility, and access to premium assignments, this is your chance to take control of your healthcare career. \n\n Key Responsibilities: \n\n • Perform nuclear medicine procedures including gastric emptying, HIDA scans, MUGA scans, and PET scans • Conduct bone and brain scans including 3 phase, limited, whole body, and cerebral blood flow studies • Execute liver/spleen scans including liver flow, liver imaging, and liver scan-hemangioma procedures • Perform lung scans including DTPA aerosol, perfusion, and ventilation/perfusion studies • Complete renal flow procedures including flow/function, renal perfusion, 3 phase, and with Lasix • Conduct thyroid studies including cancer survey, I-123 uptake scan, and uptake scan procedures • Perform tumor localization scans including limited and whole body studies • Execute SPECT (Single-Photon Emission CT) procedures for bone, brain, liver, renal, and sestamibi parathyroid scans • Conduct myocardial procedures including pharmacological stress and thallium stress tests • Draw venous blood and start and maintain peripheral IV access • Implement isolation precautions and infection control measures • Store, handle, and dispose of radioactive materials safely according to protocols • Document patient care and procedures using Epic charting system • Operate and maintain all GE nuclear medicine equipment • Utilize NUCTRAC system for ordering doses and pharmaceuticals • Provide patient care to adult, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric populations • Maintain NMTCB certification and complete required continuing education • Respond to on-call requirements on weekends within 30 minutes • Float to affiliate hospitals including Ballantyne, Mint Hill, Huntersville, Matthews, and Rowan as needed • Complete 24-hour unit orientation and required pre-start modules • Adhere to facility fatigue policy and scheduling requirements • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required • Maintain professional appearance with royal blue scrubs dress code \n\n Job Requirements: \n\n\n\t • Active, unencumbered license in NC\n\t, • Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty\n\t, • Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements\n\t, • Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)\n\t, • Two current clinical references\n\t, • State-required professional license\n\t, • Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)\n\t, • TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)\n\t, • Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)\n\t, • Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations\n\t, • A modern, mobile-first platform built for how you want to work\n\t, • Clear, upfront pay rates - no surprises\n\t, • Book contracts and shifts on your schedule, 24/7\n\t, • Maximize your take-home with top tier, tax-free housing & travel stipends\n\t, • Contract extension bonuses\n\t, • Referral rewards\n\t VitalHire Job ID #55913854.
