Job DescriptionTechnologically proficient financial planning professional with expertise in complex entity structures, advanced tax law and integrated planning for closely held businesses and high-net-worth clients. This role blends client service with paraplanning responsibilities, managing clients’ living financial plans from data gathering through implementation while serving as a primary point of contact for client requests. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, evaluating tax returns, financial statements and entity structures to identify planning gaps and opportunities. Responsibilities include preparing meeting materials, maintaining current client plans and assisting in the implementation of sophisticated tax, estate, succession and liquidity strategies that align business and personal objectives. Working collaboratively with advisors, investment professionals, CPAs and attorneys, this role contributes to comprehensive, client-focused solutions and supports the development of scalable planning frameworks and resources that promote firmwide excellence. Salary - $65,000 - $80,000 Perks • Health, dental, and vision insurance; group life and LTD insurance, • 401(k) retirement plan, • Paid time off and paid holidays, • Professional development support, including assistance with licensing, designations and continuing educationMinimum Requirements, • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field, • 1–3 years of experience in financial services, wealth management or a client-facing professional services role, • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-focused presence, • Detail-oriented with a high standard for accuracy in data entry, documentation and follow-through, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and navigate web-based platforms, • Ability to attain and maintain required licensing, • Experience at an RIA, multi-family office or financial planning firm, preferred, • Familiarity with financial planning software (RightCapital, eMoney, MoneyGuidePro or similar), preferred, • Experience with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce, preferred, • Exposure to custodial platforms (Fidelity Wealthscape, Schwab Advisor Center), preferred, • Experience with portfolio management or reporting platforms (Advyzon, Orion or similar), preferred, • Knowledge of insurance products (life, disability, long-term care) and the quoting/underwriting process, preferred, • CFP candidacy or interest in pursuing professional designations, preferred, • Ability to complete a comprehensive background check and hold valid driver licenseExpectations, • Gathers quantitative client data (income, assets, liabilities, insurance, estate documents, tax returns) and organizes for planning analysis., • Inputs client data into RightCapital and other planning software; builds preliminary plan scenarios under advisor direction., • Develops initial strategy recommendations based on data analysis, then collaborates with advisors and the broader team to refine and finalize strategies., • Coordinates with clients’ CPAs, attorneys and other advisors to gather necessary information, confirm details and support planning initiatives., • Uses multiple software platforms to build, stress-test and present comprehensive financial plans., • Develops implementation plans for approved strategies and executes all associated planning tasks and action items., • Prepares client-facing presentations, meeting agendas, and supporting materials reflecting current data, projections, and actionable recommendations; ensures plans are updated ahead of meetings., • Supports the insurance planning process by running preliminary quotes, gathering underwriting information and coordinating with the firm’s insurance support team through implementation., • Continuously maintains and updates each client’s financial plan, tracking changes in income, expenses, goals, tax circumstances and life events., • Proactively identifies optimization opportunities across planning areas and bring recommendations to the advisory team., • Serves as the primary point of contact for client service requests, delivering timely, professional and proactive communication., • Extracts action items from meeting notes, documents in Salesforce and ensures follow-through on every task., • Oversees post-meeting workflows by documenting outcomes, assigning tasks and ensuring completion., • Builds and maintains strong client relationships with a white-glove service mindset., • Processes investment onboarding paperwork, asset movements, transfers and rollovers., • Submits and tracks service requests with Fidelity and Schwab custodial teams; coordinates to resolve account inquiries and facilitate processing., • Processes RMDs, systematic distributions and other recurring account servicing tasks., • Cross-train on investment operations workflows to ensure continuity and coverage across the team., • Builds and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for client service, planning and implementation workflows., • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in Salesforce, ensuring data integrity across all platforms., • Contributes to firm-wide projects aimed at improving the client experience, operational efficiency and scalability., • Performs other duties, tasks and special projects as assigned.The above description covers the principal duties and responsibilities of the job.
