American Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Indianapolis, Indiana. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 03/16/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 10 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview • Shift: Days, 4x10hrs, • Hours: 40 hrs/wk, • Start Date: Mar 16, 2026, • Length: 13 weeks, • Work in a hospital-based IR department with 4 procedure rooms, including 2 single-plane and 2 biplane Siemens C-arms, • Level 1 trauma, Level 1 PE, and Level 1 stroke designated facility, • Two IR techs are assigned per room — one circulates and one scrubs, • Procedures include angiograms, embolizations, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, PE thrombectomy, intracranial thrombectomy, stent placements, central line insertions, and more, • 4x10-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM, • On-call requirement every 3rd or 4th weekend, starting Friday at 5:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM, • Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate facility is required of all travelers, • Cerner EMR — experience requiredRequirements, • Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required, • Proficiency in both peripheral vascular IR and neurovascular IR cases required, including the ability to scrub both, • BLS and ARRT (R) required; ARRT (VI) preferred, • Indiana state license or Compact license required (license required if applicable), • Experience with stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrostomy, peripherals, drainages, upper and lower extremity studies, abdominal and pelvic studies, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies, • Teaching hospital experience preferred, • Level 1 trauma experience preferred, • Proficiency with PACS system; Siemens equipment experience preferred, • University must have been accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation, • Two supervisor references required, • SSN and DOB required for consideration, • AHA or RQI certifications accepted and must be currentAdditional Information, • First-time travelers are welcome to apply, • Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays, • Up to 5 days of non-holiday RTO can be auto-approved; additional RTO requires facility approval, • Local candidates (Indiana residents) are accepted for this Allied/IR position, • Any current or former permanent or PRN employee of IU Health must have been away for 12 months before applying as a traveler With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
