Job Description Job Title: Cleanroom Production Operator Job Description The Cleanroom Production Operator assembles simple and complex devices in a highly regulated cleanroom environment, operating automated assembly equipment and performing detailed packaging, labeling, and documentation. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow written procedures and assembly drawings, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area across multiple shifts. Responsibilities • Assemble simple and complex devices according to established procedures and assembly drawings., • Operate automated assembly equipment safely and efficiently to meet production goals., • Complete accurate documentation for in-process and final procedures, following all regulatory and quality requirements., • Package and label finished products in accordance with work instructions and quality standards., • Regularly read and interpret work procedures, assembly drawings, and checklists to ensure correct assembly and inspection., • Verify product quality using checklists and other inspection methods, identifying and reporting any nonconformances., • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to comply with cleanroom standards., • Use hand and power tools, as required, to perform mechanical assembly and related tasks., • Follow all cleanroom protocols, including handling materials and products in a controlled environment., • Experience with assembly in a production or manufacturing environment., • Ability to perform hand assembly and work on an assembly line., • Proficiency in operating automated assembly equipment., • Ability to read and follow work procedures, assembly drawings, and checklists., • Strong attention to detail for inspection, documentation, and verification of products., • Experience working in a cleanroom or other highly regulated environment., • Capability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively., • Basic mechanical aptitude for mechanical assembly tasks., • Ability to perform packaging and labeling tasks accurately., • Previous experience in packaging and inspection roles., • Experience in general labor within a production or manufacturing setting., • Familiarity with wiring and soldering processes., • Comfort working with both hand tools and power tools., • Ability to adapt to multiple shifts and changing production priorities. Work Environment You will work in a highly regulated cleanroom environment where cleanliness, organization, and adherence to procedures are critical. The assembly area operates across multiple shifts, and you will handle products and materials under strict cleanroom protocols. The work involves using automated assembly equipment, hand tools, and power tools, as well as performing detailed packaging, labeling, and documentation. The environment emphasizes precision, documentation accuracy, and maintaining a clean, controlled workspace at all times. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
