Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Front Desk Associate to join our practice. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the medical field, either through previous employment or education. This position requires travel to our Boca Raton office on Fridays. As a Medical Front Desk Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support to patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort with payment collection are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities: • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner, creating a positive first impression of the healthcare facility., • Register new patients by collecting and verifying personal and insurance information accurately and efficiently., • Schedule appointments for patients, ensuring proper documentation and timely follow-up., • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members., • Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with legal and ethical standards., • Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation, providing guidance when needed., • Verify insurance coverage and explain financial responsibilities to patients., • Collect payments for services rendered, accurately record transactions, and provide receipts to patients., • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient clinic operations., • Manage and update the front desk area, ensuring a clean and organized workspace., • Collaborate with other administrative staff to support overall office efficiency and provide backup coverage when needed., • Stay updated on medical office procedures, policies, and regulations to provide accurate information to patients and staff., • Adhere to privacy and security regulations when handling patient information, maintaining confidentiality at all times., • Assist in maintaining inventory of office and medical supplies, placing orders as necessary., • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting., • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or associate degree in a related field is a plus., • Bilingual proficiency in languages other than English is preferred but not required., • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively., • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in patient records, scheduling, and financial transactions., • Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team., • Exceptional customer service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor., • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite., • Comfortable with handling financial transactions, including collecting payments and providing receipts., • Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance procedures, and HIPAA regulations is an advantage., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
