Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: CVOR, • Discipline: RN, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 10 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Location: Omaha, NE 68114 Start Date: Sep 15, 2025 Assignment Duration:13 Weeks Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM or until cases are completed) Includes variable day off, with call and weekend rotation Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable CVOR Registered Nurse to join a dynamic surgical team for a 13-week assignment in an acute care setting. The RN will assist in various cardiovascular and vascular procedures and play a critical role in patient care throughout the perioperative process. Roles & Responsibilities: • Circulate and assist in cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures, including open heart, CABG, and valve replacements, • Support thoracic and endovascular interventions such as AAA repairs and IVC filter placements, • Ensure patient safety and sterile technique throughout procedures, • Collaborate closely with surgeons, scrub techs, anesthesia, and other OR staff, • Monitor patient status, document care, and maintain accurate records in Cerner – SurgiNet, • Respond quickly to changes in patient condition during surgery, • Take part in emergency procedures as needed, • Participate in call rotation, including weeknights and weekends, • Float to other OR units as needed based on skillset, • Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling, call coverage, and team supportRequired Skills & Qualifications:, • Active RN license, • Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience in an acute care setting, • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred, • Proven experience with open heart and endovascular procedures, • Ability to circulate independently; scrubbing experience is a plus, • Strong understanding of sterile field maintenance and infection control, • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure environments Application Process:\nPlease submit your resume to or call 949-404-4671.
