American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Omaha, Nebraska. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: CT Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 05/11/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview • Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs, • Hours: 36 hrs/wk, • Start Date: May 11, 2026, • Length: 13 weeks, • Acute care hospital setting with a Level I trauma designation, • CT department with 8 treatment areas, • Mixed patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics with high-acuity cases, • Busy OR and ER environment with a wide variety of imaging studies, including CTAs, cardiac CT, and perfusion studies, • Uses Siemens equipment and Bracco contrast injectors, • EMR: Epic | PACS: McKesson, • 12-hour overnight shifts: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, • May float between the main campus and an urgent care/stand-alone ER campus, • May also be required to float to MRI, X-ray, or Ultrasound depending on department needsRequirements, • Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required, • Level I trauma experience required, • Prior travel experience required, • Active BLS (AHA) and ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (CT) preferred, • State or compact (NLC) license required if applicable — active at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted, • Epic EMR experience preferred, • Proficiency in venipuncture required, • Ability to perform CT and X-ray preferred, particularly for overnight shifts, • Driver's license required for consideration and used to verify the 50-mile radius requirementAdditional Information, • Perform a wide variety of CT imaging studies including CTAs, cardiac CT, and perfusion studies in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, • 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, each including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire, • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible, • Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates who worked PRN through an outside firm will be considered, • RTO requests of 7 days or fewer per 13-week contract must be submitted upfront; additional RTO will not be approved after consideration, • Orientation is approximately 36–40 hours, • Radiation badge provided by the facility, • Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
