Job Description Delivery Driver / Installer / Maintenance Our Delivery Drivers are part of a warehouse team that supply The Stewart Organization, and its customers, with top notch operations services. Doing so with a professional attitude, a clean and neat appearance and deep respect for the customers property and personal workspaces. As part of the Team, your primary role will be to provide excellent customer service while Safely & Accurately delivering, moving, and picking up equipment at valued customer locations. At some locations, this will also include installing the Equipment. You will also be expected to communicate any challenges met throughout the day and provide valuable feedback for improvements. A CDL is NOT required as you will be driving company vans and 15’ box trucks. You may, on rare occasion, be asked to drive a 26’ rental truck as well. While most day to day deliveries will be made in the San Antonio and Austin areas, occasional trips to further out locations may be requested. Locations such as Temple, Houston, Dallas, etc. You will assist the warehouse and service teams while in the warehouse to promote a strong team culture. This role will also perform certain weekly facilities and janitorial maintenance duties. Assisting with certain facility and maintenance tasks around the building. Some of the detailed responsibilities include: • Driving, • Safely operating Stewart’s company vehicles, navigating traffic and loading docks, • Practicing Safe driving habits such as using turn signals, obeying traffic laws, avoiding distractions, etc., • Monitor and Maintain vehicle health, communicating with warehouse manager.Driver Check Out, • Driver Check Out, • Ensure that you have all equipment needed for your route., • Ensure accuracy of the equipment to be loaded., • Ensure that all equipment is Safely secured on the truck., • Self-Dispatching and Data Collection, • Dispatch and close calls in real time., • Meeting and exceeding customer expectations for delivery and down times, • Providing complete and accurate information for calls., • Obtaining signatures for ALL equipment delivered, picked up or moved., • Safety & Alertness, • Performing ALL daily tasks in a safe manner., • Being Alert and Responsive to any customer needs that may arise., • Monitoring vehicle safety and maintenance updates, • Warehouse, • Assisting the Warehouse team with projects, maintenance and other responsibilities., • Taking loads of pallets, cardboard or packing materials to be sold or disposed of., • Maintaining Cleanliness, • Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and report issues or truck needs to the warehouse manager., • Notifying managers when maintenance needs arise. Oil changes, engine lights or abnormal sounds coming from vehicle., • Facilities / Janitorial., • Purchasing supplies. Cleaning and spot checking small kitchen and bathrooms. Refilling soap dispensers. And occasional Vacuuming and general cleaning around the building. Minimum Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED, • Valid Drivers License and a Clean Driving Record, • Comfortable using and working with electronic devices., • Strong interpersonal and verbal communications skills ., • Able to comfortably lift 75 lbs., • On occasion, projects may require work to be performed outside business hours of M-F 8-5., • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
