Job Description Part-Time Technical Support Technician Location: Wappinger Falls, NY (Onsite) Hours: 20–30 hours/week Duration: Long-term, ongoing (not project-based) Position Overview We are seeking an entry-level Part-Time Technical Support Technician to provide phone, email, chat, and in-person technical support at a corporate headquarters in Wappinger Falls, NY. This is a long-term, part-time opportunity with a flexible schedule after training and is ideal for college students or entry-level IT candidates looking to build hands-on experience. After training, hours are flexible between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM, typically 4–5 hours per day. Key Responsibilities • Provide technical support via phone, email, chat, and onsite assistance, • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues, • Log, document, and track support cases in a ticketing system (Salesforce), • Escalate unresolved issues to Tier 2/3 support as needed, • Perform software installs, upgrades, and cloud-based support, • Assist with part inquiries and customer requests, • Identify recurring issues and assist with documentation and knowledge base updates, • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective support solutions, • Participate in required team meetings and meet departmental KPIs, • Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service Required Qualifications • Entry-level technical experience (A+ knowledge level preferred), • Basic understanding of networking and connectivity, • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, • Customer service–focused with clear communication skills, • Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain good attendance Preferred Skills • Help desk or desktop support experience, • Network and wireless troubleshooting, • Ticketing system experience, • Software and hardware testing exposure Additional Information • Full training provided, • Virtual interviews available as early as next week Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
