Job Description Rye Country Day School is seeking a test coordinator, this position runs from mid-August to mid-June. Rye Country Day School is a coeducational, Prek-12, college preparatory school located in Westchester County, New York dedicated to providing students with an excellent education using both traditional and innovative approaches. The K–12 Test Coordinator is a cross-divisional leader who ensures that the school’s assessment practices reflect its commitment to integrity, equity, and student-centered education. Working closely with Learning Support Services, College Counseling, and divisional leadership, this role supports the ethical, accurate, and consistent administration of standardized and internal assessments across grades K–12. This position plays an essential role in promoting access and fairness in high-stakes testing while maintaining rigorous compliance standards and operational excellence. By centralizing and strengthening testing coordination, this position enhances institutional coherence, reduces risk, and ensures that all students experience assessment processes that are fair, well-managed, and aligned with the school’s mission. The Test Coordinator supports both operational excellence and the broader goal of nurturing confident, prepared learners. Specific responsibilities of the position include: • Serve as the school’s designated Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) Coordinator with the College Board and ACT, ensuring equitable access to approved testing accommodations., • Coordinate PSAT, SAT, and ACT administrations in partnership with College Counseling, supporting students through the college admissions testing process., • Oversee Advanced Placement exam administration through the College Board AP Program, ensuring compliance and strong communication with faculty and students., • Coordinate ERB (CTP-V) testing for grades 3–8 in collaboration with the Educational Records Bureau and divisional leadership., • Support the scheduling and equitable administration of Middle and Upper School internal exams., • Train and supervise proctors; manage secure testing materials in accordance with national testing standards., • Contribute to the life of the Upper School by advising students through our Advisory Program, • Participate in standard faculty duties such as proctoring testing/accommodation testing., • Oversee and enhance the Upper School Peer Tutoring Program.
