Job Description Rome Health is searching for a Director of Nursing within our Gastroenterology Services Department. The Director of Nursing is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational management, and clinical support of both the Gastroenterology (GI) outpatient clinic and GI endoscopy suite. This role ensures high quality, patient-centered care, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and staff engagement across all GI service lines. Responsibilities: • Oversee nursing care using evidence based practices and patient safety standards for GI patients., • Manage scheduling, ratios, staff development and workflow for department employees., • Work closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and execute patient plans of care., • Track quality metrics and lead performance improvement initiatives. LICENSES: Current Registered Nurse License in New York State EXPERIENCE:At least 3 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, preferably in gastroenterology, endoscopy, or procedural services. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: A Combination of sitting, walking and standing. Heavy lifting over 45lbs and up to 15lbs occasionally. Speaking and hearing or communicating with other personnel and patients.
