Job DescriptionJob Title: Machine OperatorJob Description As a Machine Operator, you will perform quality checks using digital calipers, micrometers, and dial gauge indicators, ensuring precision to +/- 0.01. You will set parameters for all equipment on the production line, making necessary adjustments to correct any issues during production. Your role will include monitoring tooling coolant and concentration levels at set intervals, performing maintenance tasks such as greasing bearings and changing machine parts, and organizing tooling. You will be responsible for your own quality management of products and operate cranes to load spools into machines, changing over jobs two to three times a week. Responsibilities • Conduct quality checks using digital measuring tools., • Set and adjust equipment parameters on the production line., • Monitor coolant and concentration levels at set intervals., • Perform maintenance tasks including greasing bearings and changing machine parts., • Manage product quality independently., • Operate cranes to load spools into machines., • Change over jobs two to three times a week.Essential Skills, • Experience with calipers, micrometers, and dial gauges., • Mechanical skills including the use of hand and power tools., • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times a day., • Proficiency in computer and data entry for measurements., • Understanding of blueprints., • Automation experience., • Ability to start and stop a production line., • CNC operating and setup experience., • Experience with rotary cutting tools.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Willingness to learn.
