Job DescriptionM-F 40 hours/weekThis position is hybrid & will be required to report to Corporate Offices located in Vacaville, California. Summary: Travis Credit Union’s (TCU) IT Quality Assurance (QA) Management is responsible for effective leadership of the Quality Assurance team. This team develops, implements, and maintains a system to test the quality and reliability of Travis Credit Union’s products and services to ensure they meet established standards by managing testing processes, analyzing data, and leading a team of QA professionals to identify and resolve quality issues. IT QA Management works closely with cross-functional teams including IT developers and product managers, vendors, and business stakeholders to test, maintain, and report on quality metrics. Profile: • Leads, trains, evaluates, coaches, professionally develops and motivates staff to attain department goals. Sets and monitors performance goals. Promotes a work environment that encourages involvement, initiative and teamwork. Builds career development paths for assigned staff., • Defines and implements quality standards and procedures across the organization, aligning with industry regulations and an excellent member experience., • Designs and executes comprehensive testing strategies to assess product quality, including functional, performance, usability, and regression testing., • Identifies, tracks, and prioritizes defects, ensuring timely resolution and communication with development teams., • Analyzes quality metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and proactively address potential quality issues., • Collaborates with customer experience and product development teams to understand member feedback and incorporate quality improvements based on user experience., • Prepares and presents detailed quality reports to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and improvement recommendations., • Identifies opportunities to optimize testing processes and methodologies, promoting continuous improvement within the QA team. Skills:, • Demonstrated ability in the creation of quality standards, tools, and methodologies., • Advanced knowledge and experience with Azure DevOps., • Demonstrated leadership skills of cross-functional and hybrid teams., • Knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies., • Advanced knowledge of planning and executing end-to-end testing of integrated systems., • Proven skills in the development, implementation, and execution of strategic plans, the integration of complex projects into existing systems and structures, and the ability to identify future opportunities., • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks as well as manage the team in high-demand situations., • Analytic Ability – Can work with data to identify patterns, uses judgment to form conclusions that may challenge conventional wisdom, and focuses on the crux of issues to identify high–leverage intervention points and strategies, • Communication and Storytelling – Conveys complex information to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in a way that is easily understood and actionable, • Creativity – Applies original thinking to produce new ideas and innovative products; questions assumptions and imagines future possibilities, • Decision–making – Considers the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one, • Influence – Applies different strategies to convince others to change their opinions or plans and ensures that proposals or arguments are supported by strong logic and a compelling business case, • Organizational Awareness – Understands and works in line with the organization’s mission, operations, structure, and goals; understands informal structures and processes of the organization; understands organization–level implications of his or her day–to–day decisions, • Project Prioritization – Directs team, individual, and cross–functional work through goal setting, time management, and planning, • Teamwork and Collaboration – Promotes and facilitates coordination and cooperation within and across various teams Reporting & Experience: -, • Reports directly to assigned department leadership., • Supervisory responsibilities for assigned department staff., • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or a related field; or equivalent related work experience., • Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or Quality Management is a plus., • ASQ Certification is a plus., • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance, software testing or similar roles., • Advanced experience with Azure DevOps., • Minimum of 3 years in supervisory or leadership role., • Experience in vendor management.
