General Summary We are looking for a skilled Machinist to set up and operate conventional, special-purpose, and NC machines to fabricate precision metallic components. This role involves hands-on machining, problem-solving, and working closely with engineering and production teams in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Machining & Fabrication \n • Interpret prints, sketches, drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining steps.\n, • Measure, mark, and scribe reference points on materials as guides for machining processes.\n, • Select, align, and secure fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials for machines such as mills, lathes, grinders, jig borers, and shapers.\n, • Set and adjust machine controls-speed, feed, coolant flow, depth/angle of cut, etc.-or input/modify CNC programs as needed.\n, • Operate machines and monitor performance, resolving malfunctions or out-of-tolerance issues.\n, • Verify accuracy of finished parts to specifications using appropriate measuring tools.\n, • Perform trial runs to validate setups or programmed data.\n, • Develop part specifications and create sketches from general descriptions when required.\n, • Partner with engineers, production staff, and programmers to troubleshoot machining or assembly issues.\n, • Maintain clear communication to ensure high-quality output and efficient workflow.\n, • Safely operate hoists and material-handling equipment.\n, • Follow all safety guidelines when handling tools, machinery, and chemicals.\n, • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\n, • Perform basic programming for mills and lathes.\n, • Complete additional duties as assigned.\n, • A.A.
