The Clinical Care Coordinator provides high level patient service including but not limited to patient check-in, coaching, education, information, and assessments of patients needing escalation to a Respiratory Therapist. The Clinical Care Coordinator will have to maintain a working knowledge of all equipment being dispensed to patients. They will dispense equipment and check authorizations, create and process sales orders, in addition to completing modem enrollment for all new setups. The expectation of this position is to ensure that BetterNight delivers compliance outreach to our patient base, increases overall compliance and outcomes, ensures all equipment provided has been authorized, catches and escalate issues when authorizations are not present and provides first-class patient experiences. CORE RESEPONSIBILITIES • Responsible for working with patients face to face, virtually and over the phone., • Responsible for answering phones or making outbound calls, managing the ACD group, addressing and resolving patient issues., • Creates and processes sales orders such as CPAP, mask, and mask refit and submits through Brightree or for reimbursement through manufacturer portals. Prepares and requests RMAs on all 30-day mask refits., • Explains co-pays and insurance coverage, and cash pay to patients as necessary., • Creates reports to locate, process and confirm all pick-up tickets created by Respiratory Therapists., • Reviews patient files, both electronic and hard copy, for accuracy and for compliance with BetterNight policy and procedures., • Make notes in files and Brightree system as required by company policy and procedures, and current health care standards., • Downloads usage and therapy data from PAP devices per BetterNight policy and procedures., • Returns devices and other returned equipment into appropriate inventories within the Brightree system., • Acts as a resource (identify problems and provide solutions, implementing procedures, as needed) for all respiratory, OAT, and other HME equipment (indications, operation, maintenance, etc.) currently supplied by the company, as appropriate., • Educates patients on the need for ABNs. Work schedule and location are subject to change based on business needs. Job Description: An Infusion Nurse inserts, monitors and removes an IV used to give medications, blood products and nutrition to a patient. During the IV therapy, the nurse monitors the patient for adverse reactions and ensures that the tubing, bandages and needle stay in place. When a patient needs blood levels checked, an IV nurse performs a veinous phlebotomy. During the entire IV therapy process, the nurse obtains sets of vital signs, completes the physical assessment and review of systems, documents all patient-related activities and records the medications they use. Provides and coordinates all aspects of staffing services to the patient with the assistance of the Company Directors, Nursing Coordinator and the Director of Nursing. Communicates with the patients to determine problems and/or solutions regarding their treatment.
