We are a well-established group practice, which is growing and dedicated to helping our clients integrate to be-coming whole again. We offer holistic, curated care to our clients, taking special care and attention to client/therapist assignment. Meaning, it is our top priority that our therapists are able to shine while working with their preferred clientele. Learn more: • AssociateClinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), or a Associate Clinical Psychologist., • Ability to pass a California State background check., • Able to work with a combined team of clinical staff., • Good verbal, written communication and professional documentation charting skills., • Experience in treating family systems perspective and to create positive relationships.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: The ideal candidate will possess a degree in one of the following disciplines Master of Social Work (MSW), Master of Clinical Social Work (CSW), Master of Science Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) or a related discipline. ABOUT YOUR ROLE: • Provide effective psychotherapeutic treatment for clients experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, existential search for meaning, family & relationship issues, and those seeking deeper self-awareness, • The candidate will maintain quality clinical documentation of sessions., • Caseload will grow to over the course of six months, with an expected minimum of 10 clients per week., • Must be available each week for flexible schedule that includes Friday (and Saturday as needed)., • Must manage your weekly schedule with clients, which provides flexibility for both the client and therapist., • Participates in weekly clinical supervision with the A Place to Turn clinical team., • Applicants are a part of another group practice are not a good fit., • A Place to Turn, Inc will handle your billing, credentialing, and provide your clients and office space., • Ability to quickly develop trust and rapport., • Interest in being part of collaborative, holistic team with startup culture.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, • Masters degree in Psychology, Counseling, or similar., • Must be a registered associate with CA state Board of Behavioral Science as A-MFT, A-CSW or A-PCC, • Must have excellent communication, collaboration, and punctuality., • Ability and interest in providing therapy that blends spiritual practices such as Buddhism, Mindfulness, etc., • Ability to use computerized schedule for client management, internal communications, and fee collection, • Must have proof of malpractice insurance.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, • Desire to work as a clinician in a private practice setting, where your voice is heard., • Desires to gain experience with trauma, mood disorders, addiction, families and couples., • Willing to grow into a part or full-time position.
