WHAT YOU'LL DO: The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) delivers mental and behavioral health services to patients under an Integrated Behavioral Health program. The duties will include mental health/substance abuse assessment, integrated health care screenings, brief solution-focused therapy, referral, and support services. Services will be provided to clients, families and others from diverse backgrounds. The successful candidate has: • Master’s degree in Social Work from a university accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, and possession of a current Clinical Social Worker license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences., • Familiarity with integrated behavioral health models within a community healthcare system; experience practicing in such a setting preferred., • Experience in short-term, evidence-based, solution-focused counseling; creation of treatment plans; psychosocial assessment; individual therapy; group therapy; cognitive-behavioral therapy; motivational interviewing; trauma-informed care; and crisis intervention., • Knowledge of psychiatric, psychosocial, ethical, legal and privacy issues; substance misuse/abuse and chemical dependency assessment and treatment; understanding of current insurance benefits and restrictions in the area of mental health; knowledgeable of DSM-V; and treatment issues concerning adolescents and minors., • Must have a current and valid California driver’s license and the ability to provide proof of personal auto insurance on the vehicle driven during working hours.
